Jason Miller vs. ”The Destroyer” Jayson Shepherd EWA Crash Course – May 5, 2008
***”The Destroyer” Jayson Shepherd, Vendetta, and an unknown man sit inside Shepherd’s office in the Team T.D. gymnasium. All three look around at the championship belts, plaques, and trophies that adorn the walls and shelves of the office. Shepherd then airs the clip of last week’s Crash Course where it was announced that Shepherd would be facing Jason Miller in the quarterfinals of the EWA World Title Tournament. The unnamed man speaks after facing Shepherd.***
Shepherd, I’ve watched footage of Jason Miller in action and have just one question. Does that boy have a death wish, or is he just special?
***All three laugh.***
If you thought he looks bad on film, just wait until you see him live.
The only thing that matters in this match is what lies at the end of this tournament. As you can see by looking around this office, I’ve held titles all over the world, but the EWA World Title would be a first for me. I’ve never been the first person to hold a newly created title. I’ve crossed paths with Jason Miller in the past, and I’ve got to say that he brings nothing to the match that scares me. Trystan, to answer your question, Miller does have a death wish. From what I’ve heard backstage, Miller went to EWA General Manager Joey Harris and told Harris that I was the person he hoped to face in the quarterfinals of this tournament. I’m sure everyone has heard of the Golden Rule. Well, I’ve got a golden Rule of my own which reads, “Do unto others and make it hurt.”
Jason Miller runs around and talks about how nobody respects him. Well, guess what Jason Miller. Respect isn’t given. It’s earned. I don’t take the easy route to gain respect. I earn respect through my actions. Miller, you want respect? I’ll teach you a lesson in respect, but I warn you. All the Team T.D. trainess will tell you that I have some unique teaching methods. I like to beat respect out of people. Jason Miller, it’s no secret that I don’t respect you, and come Crash Course, I will show you that respect is a hands-on kind of lesson that you will learn quickly. When it comes to earning respect, violence may not be the best option, but it’s still an option in my mind.
Not that I give a damn about how people feel about me, but I deserve to be respected for what I can do. It’s no surprise that very few people respect me. Hell, even my own business manager doesn’t respect me. None of my trainees respect me. It’s fine. I’m their puppet master. They’re my puppets. I make them dance. I’m used to nobody respecting me. I don’t respect anyone. All my opponents have learned that I fear no man. I’ve said all along that I do whatever it takes to win.
***Shepherd looks at the brackets of the tournament.***
What I’m about to say applies not only to Jason Miller and the other participants in this tournament, but also to EWA management, EWA staff, the rest of the EWA roster, the EWA fans, and anyone who might come across my words.
***Shepherd turns toward the camera and removes his sunglasses.***
I think it all boils down to a simple misunderstanding. I have people come up to me all the time and say, “We don’t understand you.” It’s simple. I beat people up for a living. I take pleasure in the pain of others. I don’t care if people understand me. Here’s a thought.
Let those who do not understand me fear me. Let those who understand me fear themselves.
My opponents and EWA management have nobody to blame but themselves for the destruction I shall unleash upon EWA. As it stands now, I am a mere three wins away from claiming the EWA World Title and placing yet another championship belt upon these walls. Jason Miller, unfortunately for you, I get you as a sacrificial lamb this week on Crash Course. Anyone who has faced me will tell you that I am a life-altering weapon of mass destruction waiting to explode. Tick tock tick tock. Hear that? That’s time slipping away before I send you back to England in a full body cast. Jason Miller, I leave you with this bit of advice. What does not kill you will badly hurt you. Heed my words, and PREPARE FOR TOTAL DESTRUCTION.
***The camera fades to black as the trio walks out of Shepherd’s office.***
